I am a firm believer in the Right Brain / Left Brain. There are people who thrive in the academic, numeracy - the Black and White, Binary elements of life, and every society needs those people as much as they need those who live within the other side of their brain.

If everyone was made that way then the world would be a very boring place, there would be no Theatre to feel, no Art to emote, no Photography to document and no Cinema to enjoy.

I spent a large part of my life striving to be an actor to not much avail - maybe I wasn’t good enough, maybe the right doors didn’t open for me, maybe I’ve just always been in the wrong place at the wrong time - needless to say I needed to find an alternative outlet for my creative side to come out, and that’s when I turned to photography to tell stories, not just mine, but those of other people.

This is why I want to pass on the experiences and pitfalls I have both had and tried to avoid so the next generation os creative people who are picking up a camera for the first time, or shifting to this world to, like me, catch an itch that’s been inside them for many year trying to get out.

Coming from a place of shared learning I can show you how to take a creative flair that is innately in certain people and channel it into creating images that you are both proud of and feel something from.
